Across the street from Green Residences lies De La Salle University, also known as DLSU. Founded in 1911 by the Brothers of the Christian Schools, DLSU offers degrees from certificates in your chosen field to Doctoral programs, and is one of the premier universities in the Philippines.
As part of DLSU, the College of St. Benilde and St. Scholastica’s College are nearby and within easy walking distance from Green Residences. St. Scholastica’s College came into the DLSU family after it was established as a women’s college in 1906. Five German nuns opened the facility to give the children of Manila, particularly girls, a religious education. Now that it is a center for higher education, it still caters to women.
